Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country), that you have read and understood these Terms, and that you agree to be bound by them. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Service Description

Appsinai provides a link management platform including URL shortening, QR code generation, bio link pages, click analytics, and related features (collectively, the "Service").

We offer both free and paid subscription tiers. Features available to you depend on the plan you have selected. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance and events outside our control may cause temporary downtime.

3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account, whether authorised by you or not
• Notifying us immediately at security@shortlink.app of any unauthorised access
• Ensuring the accuracy of account information (name, email, billing details)

You may not share your account credentials with third parties. Each paid seat is for one named individual; team plans may designate additional seats up to the plan limit.

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Shorten or distribute links to illegal content, malware, phishing pages, or scams
• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party
• Send spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk commercial communications
• Engage in deceptive practices, impersonate others, or spread misinformation
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, our systems, or another user's account
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape data from the Service without our written consent
• Resell or sublicence the Service without our written authorisation
• Engage in any activity that adversely affects the performance of the Service for other users

We may immediately suspend or terminate accounts found to be in violation of these prohibitions without refund.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, trademarks, and content created by us, is owned by Appsinai and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your content: You retain all ownership rights to the links, bio pages, and other content you create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process, and display your content solely as necessary to provide the Service.

Feedback: If you submit ideas, suggestions, or feedback about the Service, you grant us the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation.

6. Billing & Payments

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. By providing payment information, you authorise us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred.

• All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated and exclude applicable taxes
• Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law or stated in our refund policy
• We will notify you at least 14 days before any price increase takes effect
• If a payment fails, we will retry the charge and notify you by email. Accounts with overdue payments may be downgraded or suspended

You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.

7. Termination

By you: You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion removes your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. We will provide reasonable notice where possible.

Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law) will survive.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Appsinai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from or relating to your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.

9. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be submitted to good-faith mediation. If mediation fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
